Maryland’s prosperity rests on the people who serve, so Quincy Bareebe will fight to defend federal workers’ pay and benefits, ensuring the professionals who keep government running can count on stable, competitive wages She will safeguard the mission and jobs at Patuxent River, Indian Head, and other local military installations, giving military families the security and support they deserve.
Drawing on her experience as a healthcare entrepreneur, Quincy will push to make coverage affordable and comprehensive—lowering drug prices, expanding Medicare benefits, and protecting the ACA. And because progress must reach every neighbor, she’ll fight for to strengthen voting protections, combat discrimination, and uphold reproductive freedom, so opportunity is truly shared across Maryland’s 5th District.
GROWING LOCAL PROSPERITY
Quincy will champion a thriving local economy by working to cut red tape and expand low-interest loans so small businesses and start-ups can open their doors, hire neighbors, and innovate—keeping talent and dollars here at home.
She will fight to safeguard Maryland’s family farms by protecting farmland from overdevelopment, increasing conservation incentives, and strengthening farm-to-school and regional supply chains that put fresh food on every table.
Finally, Quincy will work to modernize crumbling roads, bridges, and broadband, investing in smart transit and dedicated bus-lanes to slash commute times, connect workers to better jobs, and keep our communities moving forward.
PRESERVING OUR FUTURE
Quincy Bareebe will work to advance Maryland’s future on three decisive fronts: she will work to help reviving the Chesapeake Bay by securing clean-water grants that curb farm, scaling oyster-reef and wetlands restoration, and accelerating wind- and solar-power projects that cut pollution while creating jobs.
She will energize schools by pairing universal pre-K and modernized K-12 labs with debt-free community-college and apprenticeship pipelines that steer every student toward high-demand careers; and she will guard democracy itself, expanding voting access, shielding the rule of law from partisan sabotage, and enforcing iron-clad ethics standards to keep public power transparent, accountable, and squarely in the people’s hands.
